I don’t know anything about plumbing, how will the jobs come in
With our marketing experience and brand the phones will ring. With over 40 years in the business has taught us how to market a plumbing business and we put all that knowledge into our marketing campaigns. With a national and dedicated localised marketing plan, you will establish your Drain Surgeon franchise as the loved and respected neighbourhood plumber. The franchisee is however required to do their outmost in terms of for filling the marketing plan and promoting their business.
Comprehensive training at The Drain Surgeon HQ?
We will provide training over a 2 week period to both the franchisee and the plumber he/she intends to employ. We realise that the key individuals in this business is the plumber and therefore we spend quality time training them on how to be the best.
Where will a franchisee find the plumbers?
The franchisor will assist the franchisee in the recruitment process and has rigorous checks that they are put through to ensure they meet the requirements. Once the best candidate has been identified for a franchisee, the introductions will be made.
Turnkey solution?
We provide franchisees with a turnkey solution. This means that the franchisee will have everything he needs to start working the day he is finished with the training. You and your team will be properly trained, have a branded vehicle, equipment, tools, van stock, a cell phone & tablet, clothing & marketing material, etc.
Can I take my own calls?
No, all calls are routed through the National Call Center. This allows for a uniform high impact customer experience
Do I have to employ an office manager?
If the NCC can dispatch your plumbing team, the only other real challenge is to manage exceptions and follow up on debtors. If there are specific customer issues and perhaps a request for an onsite meeting with a customer, the franchisee will have to step in. As far as technical questions and technical support to the plumber is concerned, with over 100 years’ combined experience, the Plumbing Managers at Head Office will be able to assist your plumber or customer.
So the short answer is NO, the franchisee does not have to employ an office manager.
What other requirements are there?
Franchisees must provide a safe place for the vehicle to stay overnight. Other than that, Franchisees must share in our vision to become the largest household maintenance service provider in the country.
